Hello everyone! In today's blog I'm not bringing you information or facts about Istanbul, this time I'm in this beautiful little town in the province of Antalya, Turkey and this place is called "Kaş". Of course, I will be showing you what places you can see, visit, where to eat and even where to stay here in this town. So, hopefully you will enjoy this, I bring for you and enjoy these views.
We can easily reach Kaş with a short flight from Istanbul to Dalaman Airport in the province of Muğla.
Once in Dalaman Airport, a transfer must be taken. There are two options; one is to take a direct shuttle to Kaş for one hundred Turkish lira per person, and takes about two and a half to three hours or the second option is to take a transfer to the main bus station in Fethiye, Muğla for twenty three Turkish Lira per person and at that same bus station exchange to another bus to Kaş for thirty five Turkish lira per person. In our case we couldn't take the direct shuttle since it was already full, just in case you have both options.
We stayed in this beautiful place which is right in the heart of Kaş, few minutes walking distance from the bus station and markets. The rooms are sparkling clean, the staff are super helpful and welcoming and a delicious traditional Turkish breakfast is included.
Kaş is well-known for its colorful and picturesque streets in its center. Get lost in each one of them and enjoy its beauty.
Here we can also find a superb example of a 4th century BC of a Lycian sarcophagus.
We can also find lots of stores and restaurants and this area during the evening has a lively environment and it's a great area to have a nice dinner.
In this Harbor we'll find all the boat tours to other beaches and islands near Kaş.
If you want to witness one of the most beautiful and stunning sunsets in Kaş. Definitely, you have to come to this theater.
Not only you will be spending time in one construction that used to be from the "Hellenistic history" but also you will be able to spend a beautiful time and enjoying a beautiful sunset on the Mediterranean coast. Many people usually come here during the sunset because they want to hang out and have some drinks and spend time with the friends here. As well as you can see there is one Island and basically that is a Greek island.
Here from Kaş you can also take daily tours to that Island, if you want to change a little bit from Turkey to Greece.
Here, I tried to capture the sunset moment for you guys to show you the beautiful, glorious and stunning. You guys can feel the joy.
This is an exquisite place for having dinner. We highly recommend you coming here to pamper yourself with a great dish, wine and dessert after a long day at the beach.
This restaurant is a perfect option for those who are vegetarian or vegan.
This one has a wide menu and the food is really delicious.
As well you can have very nice views from the harbor in Kaş and this is a perfect place for having dinner with a beautiful sunset.
This place is a great option especially for vegetarians and vegans.
This have exquisite buns filled with meat or other vegan vegetarian options. I chose a beetroot bun and it was delicious.
Reaching Kaputaş beach is easy. Just take a mini bus from the main bus station for only seven and half lira per person and in about twenty five minutes you'll reach the beach.
Right now we are in this beautiful piece of heaven. This little beach between the towns of Kalkan and Kaş is called Kaputaş beach, and if we are coming to this area this is a must. Just look at the beautiful view
Turkish coast has many blue flagged beaches and this one is one of them. This one is pretty famous among the Turkish people and they often come here. The only thing is that you need to be a bit careful if you're coming with little children because sometimes this beach tends to be a bit wavy and sometimes there is people warning the visitors do not go a lot within the waves for example, two years ago, we came here, but this time we don't see too many waves and you can just come and enjoy.
Right now the weather is quite hot and the sea water from this area is not that hot, it's cold water so I'm pretty sure it will come amazing. Sunbeds and umbrellas can be hired for ten lira each piece. Just make sure to arrive early since this place tends to get crowded fast and then is hard to find empty beds.
This is one of my favorite beaches in Kaş and it's just ten to fifteen minutes by foot from the city center.
It's perfect for snorkeling thanks to its clear water. Just make sure to bring swimming shoes since it's very rocky.
This beach is perfect for families with little children, thanks to its calm water and it is just across İnceboğaz beach.
This has been some of the places visited in Kaş, of course there are many others, that you can see and visit around and in some other districts of Antalya and if you want to come to the mediterranean coast of Turkey, definitely you have to stop in this place. This is one of the most beautiful and colorful provinces here in Turkey and highly recommend. Hopefully you have liked and enjoy this blog.e.
